QUALIFICATIONS MANAGER 

ITC First is a family run awarding organisation and end point assessment organisation, with a caring and supportive ethos at its core.  ITC offers a range of regulated qualifications in a variety of sectors primarily supporting outdoor/remote employment sectors and first aid.  ITC’s focus is to support our centres and help them to prosper and succeed.

ITC First are currently seeking an individual to fill the role of Qualification Manager for its suite of regulated qualifications, which cover the forest school, first aid, outdoor education, renewable energy, health and safety, Teaching, Assessing and Quality Assurance subject areas.

 

Responsibilities

-       Leading and managing unit writing, qualification design development and review,

-       Maintaining key documents for each qualification and being responsible for ITC qualifications and unit development and review,

-       Liaising with key stakeholders, professional bodies, centre staff and regulatory officers,

-       Ensuring the provision of a range of up-to-date ITC resources for qualifications

-       Reviewing and archiving qualification documentation and reports,

-       Preparing an Annual Report on Qualifications Design, Development and Review

-       Producing ITC WebOffice Support Resources,

-       Offering advice on any and all aspects of ITC compliance with General Conditions of Recognition or Regulatory Principles,

-       Supporting the development of ITC Centre training events,

-       Member of the ITC Policy Committee,

-       Chairing the Technical Committee.

 

Personal Specification

The Qualifications Manager will be a person who:

-       Is self-reliant, self-motivated - able to work on own as well as within the team,

-       Can use IT systems in a busy organisation,

-       Is organised, meticulous and capable of working to deadlines,

-       Has professional experience in the education training sectors,

-       Suitable individuals will have verifiable expertise or experience in one or more of the following areas:

                   Unit writing or qualification development,

                   Unit assessment and awarding,

-       Can evaluate and produce reports,

-       Has excellent communication skills: clear and concise verbal and written communication,

-       Has a full clean driving licence and is willing to travel throughout the UK if required.

 

Working for ITC First

ITC First is a flexible employer and a summary of ITC’s standard terms of employment are provided below:

-       Flexible working hours,

-       Location flexible (Homeworking considered),

-       NEST Pension scheme,

-       22 days holiday in addition to all public Bank Holidays (full time working),

-       Starting Salary £30,000 - £35,000 (dependent on experience).
